Fix: Calendar & bookings
Each entry is one dated booking. If customers cannot reserve or you cannot save, validate the form fields and business mode.

Work in order from top to bottom. If nothing here matches, capture the exact error text, URL, time, and account role, then ask your business owner or Contact with those details.

Booking will not save
- Item, start date, and return date are required; the return must be on or after the start.
- Pick dates that are not in the past if your business policy blocks backdated bookings.
- Confirm the item still has quantity available for the dates you selected.
Slot missing on the customer booking page
- Confirm the date is today or later and the item is marked available.
- Check that a closure or availability rule in Rules & availability is not blocking those dates.
Wrong dates, item, or duplicate booking
- Open the booking from the calendar or list to edit dates, quantity, and customer.
- For a standing weekly booking, add one entry per date or follow /help/openclaw for OpenClaw-assisted repeats.
Note
These articles describe the HoldKit product surface. Hosted behaviour also depends on your deployment environment (database, SMTP, Stripe, and signup flags). Your owner or host can confirm values in .env when a panel says something is not configured.
