Fix: Get started checklist

Get started walks a new business through the first setup steps. If a step will not complete, it is usually waiting on data you have not entered yet.

Primary path in the app: /admin/start

Tip
Work in order from top to bottom. If nothing here matches, capture the exact error text, URL, time, and account role, then ask your business owner or Contact with those details.

A step will not mark complete

  • Finish the underlying action first — add inventory, set availability, or connect payments — then reload the checklist.
  • Some steps only tick once real data exists, so a saved-but-empty section can still read as incomplete.
Note
These articles describe the HoldKit product surface. Hosted behaviour also depends on your deployment environment (database, SMTP, Stripe, and signup flags). Your owner or host can confirm values in .env when a panel says something is not configured.
